November is when Silverado starts to sparkle. The valley’s vineyards turn gold and red, the oaks along the fairways cast long afternoon shadows, and the Mansion gets ready for the holidays. Karen has lived at Silverado for more than 30 years, and this is still one of our favorite stretches of the year. Here’s our latest twice-monthly Silverado update, where on the 1st and 15th of each month we share what’s happening at the resort along with the latest Silverado real estate news. If you missed it, our October 23 update covered fall course work, Thanksgiving at the resort and the Silverado sales from September 1 through October 23.
On the Courses: Hole 9 North Nears the Finish Line

The creek bank stabilization project on Hole 9 of the North Course has reached a milestone. As of the club’s November 1 course update, the erosion control portion of the work is complete, and crews were scheduled to return on Monday, November 2 to finish restoring the affected turf. Until that wraps up, golfers are asked to play disturbed areas as ground under repair and to follow the signs routing carts around the left side of the 9th green.
On the South Course, the cart path and fire road between Holes 10 and 16 is open again for golf cart traffic. Projects like these rarely make headlines, but they protect the courses and the homes that line them ahead of the winter rains.
The Holiday Season Begins at Silverado Resort
The resort has announced its public holiday calendar, and it’s a full one:
- Holiday Market, November 14–15 (11 a.m.–4 p.m., Mansion Garden Lawn). More than 40 local vendors and artisans, curated with NorCal Makers, will offer handcrafted jewelry, handbags, baked goods and one-of-a-kind gifts. The Golf Shop, the Spa and the Market join in all weekend, with complimentary gift wrapping at all three. Admission is complimentary.
- Christmas Tree Lighting, Friday, November 27 (5:30–7 p.m., Mansion Lawn). Live holiday music, Santa’s arrival, Santa Train rides, “snow” flurries and complimentary cocoa and treats. It’s open to all and free, and guests are invited to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots Napa toy drive.
- Santa Train rides and Breakfast with Santa, Saturdays from November 28 through December 19. The Santa Train circles the decorated Mansion Circle, and breakfast is served in the Silverado Ballroom and on the Fairway Deck, with reservations required.
- New Year’s Eve in the Silverado Ballroom, Thursday, December 31, 9 p.m.–1 a.m., with a live band and a midnight balloon drop. This 21+ celebration is open to the public, and reservations are required.

Details and reservations are on the resort’s holiday events page, or call (707) 257-0200.
Holiday Wellness at the Spa

During Holiday Market weekend, the Spa at Silverado adds complimentary chair massages, skin analysis and an aromatherapy blend bar from 1 to 4 p.m. each day, plus a make-your-own salt and sugar scrub bar and warm cider. If you’d rather not do the wrapping yourself, the Spa Gift Concierge will put together a personalized wellness gift. Sign up at least three days before the market; the Spa can be reached at (707) 257-5555 or spa@silveradoresort.com.
Silverado Real Estate News
It was a quiet stretch for closings. One Silverado property closed between October 24 and October 31, 2026: 145 Canyon Court, a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath single-family home of 4,242 square feet in the gated Silverado Crest enclave, which sold on October 30 for $2,850,000. One sale isn’t enough to show a price trend, so we’ll keep tracking the numbers in upcoming updates. And a recent highlight from our October 23 update: Karen and Helo represented the buyers of 19 Tamarack Drive in Silverado Oaks, a three-bedroom condo that closed on October 20.
