For many Silverado buyers, the home and the Club go together. Silverado Resort, at 1600 Atlas Peak Road in Napa, offers golf, tennis and pickleball, spa and fitness, dining and resort privileges through several membership categories, each with its own monthly dues, food & beverage minimum and privileges.
If you are buying a home in the Silverado Resort Community, membership is worth understanding before you write an offer. Resident Membership requires owning property within the Silverado Resort Community, and the Club’s 2026 schedule lists a Transfer Fee of $40,000 for its Residential & Non-Residential categories (Resident, Sport & Social Residential, Non-Resident and Out-of-State). New Member Application Process, 2026
How Joining Works
The Club outlines the path from first inquiry to onboarding in these steps:
- Membership Inquiry. By referral, phone, online, walk-in or outreach.
- Initial Outreach. A membership team member connects by email or phone to learn your preferences and needs.
- Personalized Tour. A customized property tour with the Membership Sales Director, based on your interests.
- Member Application. Submit the application with required references, forms and a photo.
- Application Review & Interview. The membership committee reviews the application and interviews the prospective member(s).
- Board Approval. The application goes to the Board of Directors for a vote at the next available monthly board meeting.
- Acceptance. An acceptance notice is emailed the next morning with a link to book an in-person welcome meeting (except Out-of-State memberships).
- Welcome Meeting. A 45-minute meeting covering the member website, club questions, payment collection (if applicable) and scheduling your first activity.
- Follow-Up. An email introduces you to committee representatives for your chosen activities.
- New Member Cocktail Reception. An invitation to one of the Club’s semi-annual receptions with fellow new members, the Board and club staff.
